A little bit about me

Fareeha is a queer Pakistani Muslim creative from the bay area, California. She received her BFA in Creative Writing with a minor in Comic Studies from SF State in 2020. She loves to discuss and advocate for queer books and comics across genres.

She has worked remotely as a freelance editor for over 2 years. Her experience began at a South Asian led publishing company based in the Bay Area, California where she worked in acquisitions, developmental editing, line editing, and copy editing. She has now helped over 40 authors from early stages to completing their manuscripts.

Her work as an editor, writer, and artist aims to center culturally specific fantasy and the burgeoning work of Muslim Futurism created by and for marginalized communities. You can find her across social platforms yapping about queer books, comics, and media.
